Third from the Sun: Geographical Features Seen from Space

Description:
A self-guided lesson in which pictures and engaging text tell the story of humans' development of the ability to see Earth from space, from climbing mountains to launching Landsat satellites. In a Geographic Features section, students are presented with remote sensed images of the Earth and asked to indicate what they are. The site is still underdevelopment, and will soon include suggestions for classroom use.
