Description:
Planet Cam uses NASA SeaWiFS (Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor) data to provide daily views of the planet Earth in color. SeaWiFS data is enabling scientists to track the biological health of our oceans. The web site allows close-up views of any region in the world using the interactive display of SeaWiFS orbital swaths.

This site also has links to Volcano Cam; Global Temperature Cam; and Hurricance Cam. Images are updated at least twice a day. Each section includes background information and links to related resources.
