Description:
This web site offers maps of the Earth at different times in its history, and many related resources, including a chart indicating how global climate has changed through time. Animations are "The Breakup of Pangea" (last 200 million years); the "Assembly of Pangea during the Paleozoic'; "Late Precambrian Pangeas: Rodinia to Pannotia"; "Plate Motions 250 Million years into the Future"; and "The Collision of India with Asia; The Evolution of the Caribbean." All these animations are available on CD-ROM in Quicktime format. Also available are a paleogeographic atlas, a flip book, and slides.
