Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) DAAC -- Educators Corner
Description:
The Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) is an integral part of NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS). It is the robust distributed system that processes, archives, and manages Earth science satellite and field data, and distributes these data to a diverse global user community. Science data products (including over 700 from missions preceding EOS) are available from the Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs), with each DAAC responsible for distributing data from specific disciplines. All data products are fully supported with documentation and technical user support.
The ORNL DAAC provides access to data products related to the following disciplines: Biogeochemical Dynamics which are the result of the interactions between the biological, geological, and chemical components of the Earth's environment
