This web site offers an introduction to plate tectonics with some very good graphics, particularly the "You Try It" section, in which students can move crustal plates in four different ways to learn the effects of movement. There are also hotlinks to Related People and Discoveries, such as "Magnetic bands provide evidence of sea-floor spreading."
