Model of Three Faults
Description:
Students make a model of the Earth's surface by using a "Fault Model Sheet" and move it according to instructions, to observe
the effects of three different kinds of faults. Questions are asked
to stimulate students' thinking. Students must have existing
knowledge of plate tectonics and of the directions of movement of
certain tectonic plates.
