Description:
The International Field Studies organization provides opportunities for students to learn about their environment through direct field study experiences in many disciplines; promotes educational and scientific activities through direct field experiences; and cooperates with school systems so that students may receive academic credit for field studies. IFS and the group leader collaboratively develop an individual program that provides students an alternative means of learning outside the classroom.
