Education for Sustainable Development Tool Kit
Description:
This site provides tools for developing an education program on sustainable development. The author uses the Brundtland Commission's definition of sustainable development -- "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." Includes exercises to: introduce sustainable development; to create community sustainability goals; and to reorient education to address sustainability. Also included are: A Case Study: Toronto Board of Education Curriculum Revision and Reorientation; references and links to other resources.
