This picture book of Echo the Bat is accompanied by a set of activities that reinforce four basic themes or concepts fundamental to the interpretation of satellite imagery: perspective, shape and pattern, color, and texture. Activities and activity sheets are also provided on a companion Website: http://imagers.gsfc.nasa.gov/k-4/index.html. The pop-up book will be available from NASA CORE Spring 2000.
