The Earth and Me: Forever Friends
Description:
The unit provides background, lesson plans, and activities for young students to learn about five aspects of ecosystems: land forms, soil, the hydrologic cycle, vegetation, and
climate. They discover that the ecosystem is a complex community where trees, plants and animals are dependent upon each other for survival. They learn about the part they can play in solving Earth's environmental problems and how they can implement some changes in
their lives to lessen the negative effect of pollution on Earth.
