About 20 stunning images of Earth's atmospheric patterns, taken by space shuttle astronauts at this site will serve primarily as inspiration, but are accompanied by detailed captions. In the past two years, interest in clouds has increased considerably as scientists attempt to understand global warming and the greenhouse effect.
