Can El Niņo Make it Rain?
Description:
Students investigate the correlation between El El Niņo and precipitation in different cities around the world. They learn
about El Niņo and its effects, then use Internet resources to
determine dates of past occurrences of El Niņo; graph the frequency
of El Niņo events in geologic history; collect and graph data to
correlate El Niņo occurrences with precipitation in various cities;
and then compare their findings to other studies on El Niņo.
