This resource is an Internet version of an annual CD-ROM published by CEOS. It was developed as a resource for

- developing countries: information about Earth observation applications, data sources, and future plans.
- education: to help teachers and students in learning about the world through observations from space.
-strengthening understanding of the social benefits of Earth observation by satellite.

Includes classroom activities for high school (teaching physics and Earth science using satellite observations), as well as data resources, information about satellite systems, etc.
