Acid Rain: A Collaborative Project
Description:
Participants collect rain samples during three or more rainfalls and measure the pH level (preferably with a meter) to the nearest tenth. The web site provides a range of links to resources with which teachers can build lesson plans around this activity.
(In 2000, the project runs February through May, with the measurements themselves taken March 13 through April 14.)
