Project TRIPS

Description:
Teaching Rivitalized through Informal Programs in Science will enable teams of teachers and administrators to plan and implement professional development programs that employ informal science institutions such as zoos, botanical gardens, natural history museums, nature centers and aquariums. Teams attend a 12 day Leadership Training Institute in Bronx, New York; receive implementation support during the next year; and participate in a three-day Reflective Study Workshop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during summer 2002.
