Marine Activities, Resources, and Education

Description:
Both summer institutes and all-faculty inservice sessions are offered by the Lawrence Hall of Science in this multicultural, interdisciplinary science program, which can transform entire elementary laboratories for the exploration of the ocean. Teachers and students explore different marine environments around the world from the perspectives of the diverse cultures living around them. The program aligns with the California Science framework, the Language Arts Framework and Project 2061: Science for All Americans.
