Description:
The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) sponsors an annual art contest for children in grades 2-4. Past year's themes have included Climate Zones and Animal Communities, Water in the Earth System, and Cycles of Change in Earth and Sky. The winning entry is printed-along with the artist's name, age, school name, and hometown-as the 2000 IGES greeting card. Additionally, the winning artist receives a $250 savings bond. The second place winner receives a $100 savings bond, with a $50 savings bond awarded to the third place winner.
